Managing Namespaces
ThreatGet Namespaces can be assigned to Elements, Connectors, Interfaces, Boundaries, Security Properties, and Rules to establish the hierarchy and usage of ThreatGet components and rules across different contexts.
Create a new Namespace
To create a new namespace, go to the ThreatGet toolbox and click the NS button on the left side to open the Namespaces form.
On the left side, you can see a list of all existing namespaces in ThreatGet . To create a custom namespace, simply click the New Namespace button at the top of the namespace list.
Enter the Name and an appropriate Description for your custom Namespace.
After entering the name and description, save your newly defined Namespace by clicking the Save button below.
If you have made changes, that you want to undo, click on the revert button next to the save button in the top right corner.
Search for a Namespace
You can also search for specific namespaces using the Search Bar. As you type the name of the namespace, all matching namespaces will be displayed in the list.
Default Namespace
To modify the default activated namespace, select the namespace you want to use as the default. After that, click Make default namespace.
Delete a Namespace
To delete a Namespace, click the Trash Can icon at the top.
